Christos Giakoumakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleon Georgakopoulos having to interfere. When Konstantinos Paligiannis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Aryiri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantinos Paligiannis couldn't finish the play. Nikolas Thanailakis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Takis Spanakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Venos in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Nikolas Thanailakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Spνtia FC's Akakios Bourantakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Takis Spanakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Akakios Bourantakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spνtia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akakios Bourantakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aryiri's Takis Spanakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akakios Bourantakis in the 51st minute of play. Michalis Skalakis's late challenge caught a Aryiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michalis Skalakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54thth minute of the game Konstantinos Paligiannis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spνtia FC's Kleon Georgakopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Aryiri's goalkeeper Takis Spanakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christos Venos. 65 minutes into the match, Spνtia FC's Christos Venos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Takis Spanakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christos Venos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Spanakos having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Panagiotis Kallivrousis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nikolas Thanailakis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Takis Spanakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christos Venos in the 92nd minute. After 96 played minutes Spνtia FC got a freekick which was hit by Akakios Bourantakis. Savas Zouboulis made a great header on Aryiri's corner, it was just that Spνtia FC's Kleon Georgakopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spνtia FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
