Spectators: 6747 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michalis Vlachos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute, Ilias Pourzitidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Takis Spanakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Vlachos in the 11th minute of the match. When Christos Giakoumakis fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aryiri's protests and gave Christos Giakoumakis a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Aryiri got a freekick which was hit by Christos Giakoumakis. In the 13th minute, Ilias Pourzitidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michalis Vlachos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Spanakos having to interfere. Takis Spanakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michalis Vlachos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Michalis Vlachos came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Benetαta BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Vlachos couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ilias Pourzitidis sped through Aryiri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Takis Spanakos. Aryiri's Takis Spanakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michalis Vlachos in the 32nd minute of play. Ilias Pourzitidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takis Spanakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michalis Vlachos in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Vlachos in the 42nd minute of play forced Aryiri's goalkeeper Takis Spanakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kosmas Triantafyllidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Panagiotis Kallivrousis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aryiri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Kallivrousis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaggelis Karapetros to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Aryiri defense, Kosmas Triantafyllidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Takis Spanakos. The Aryiri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Takis Spanakos should have stopped the shot. If Vaggelis Karapetros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Karapetros might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chrisostomos Thanoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Karapetros ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilias Pourzitidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benetαta BC's Iraklis Spazocheris got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Takis Spanakos stood somewhat misplaced when Michalis Vlachos came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 68 minute. The audience was convinced that Michalis Vlachos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Spanakos was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Konstantinos Paligiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Takis Spanakos was a little too slow when Michalis Vlachos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilias Pourzitidis got free with Takis Spanakos in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Takis Spanakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Vlachos in the 89th minute of the match. Ilias Pourzitidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Karapetros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chrisostomos Thanoulis. Benetαta BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vaggelis Karapetros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Benetαta BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
