Stergios Theriaklis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nikolas Mavropoulos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Leskαtsi BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markou the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Iordanis Kyriakidis made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Leskαtsi BC's Iordanis Kyriakidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandros Konstantinoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandros Konstantinoulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stergios Theriaklis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Nikos Margaritis kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nikos Ntaralas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Papantoniou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iordanis Kyriakidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandros Konstantinoulis. Stergios Theriaklis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Konstantinoulis having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
