Spectators: 7549 (Terracing: 5663, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dimitris Sakallieros kicked off to start the match. Vatatádes FC's Kostas Stefanou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Sakallieros in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Kanelakis in the 7th minute of play forced Pegasus F.C's goalkeeper Dimitris Tsopakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anastasios Providas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Vatatádes FC fans jumped to their feet. Dimitris Tsopakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasios Providas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Kostas Kanelakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dimitris Tsopakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Kanelakis in the 20th minute of play forced Pegasus F.C's goalkeeper Dimitris Tsopakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasios Providas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dimitris Tsopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Tsopakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Kanelakis's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasios Providas in the 28th minute of play forced Pegasus F.C's goalkeeper Dimitris Tsopakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes, Vatatádes FC's Dimitris Kounelakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitris Tsopakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vatatádes FC reached it. In the 39th match minute, Pegasus F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazaros Zikos to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Anastasios Providas made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Tsopakis. Pegasus F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasios Providas made a kick off. When Anastasios Providas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Vatatádes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Providas couldn't finish the play. Akis Papantonakis's late challenge caught a Vatatádes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akis Papantonakis helped the player get up and apologised. Akis Papantonakis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dimitris Tsopakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasios Providas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasios Providas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dimitris Tsopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marinos Karabitsakos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimitris Tsopakis. Pegasus F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kostas Kanelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dimitris Tsopakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Manolis Kyparissis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Vatatádes FC's Kostas Stefanou. Kostas Stefanou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dimitris Sakallieros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manolis Kyparissis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kostas Stefanou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vatatádes FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vatatádes FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
