Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sofoklis Perakakis kicked off to start the match. Marios Kalaitzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Thalis Gittas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marios Kalaitzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marios Kalaitzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simaras FC's Sakis Kostoulis got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alkinoos Stratos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Alexidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thalis Gittas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkinoos Stratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stamatis Latousakis charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stamatis Latousakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stamatis Latousakis kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Simaras FC's Sakis Kostoulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thalis Gittas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermis Kalomantis came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thalis Gittas could save by the left post. Alkinoos Stratos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Thalis Gittas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simaras FC. During the 29th minute of the match Stamatis Latousakis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stamatis Latousakis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Panagiotis Alexidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Thalis Gittas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marios Kalaitzis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Simaras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marios Kalaitzis couldn't finish the play. Marios Kalaitzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thalis Gittas having to interfere. Ermis Kalomantis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Thalis Gittas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marios Kalaitzis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Píthion FC's zone, Marios Kalaitzis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thalis Gittas came out of the goal and Marios Kalaitzis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panagiotis Alexidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thalis Gittas having to interfere. Ermis Kalomantis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thalis Gittas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Daskalakis in the 59th minute of play. Marios Kalaitzis took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thalis Gittas. Thalis Gittas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Marios Kalaitzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simaras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marios Kalaitzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thalis Gittas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thalis Gittas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Kostoulis in the 67th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Simaras FC's Marios Kalaitzis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thalis Gittas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 75thth minute of the game Marios Kalaitzis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Píthion FC's Thalis Gittas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alkinoos Stratos struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Thalis Gittas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simaras FC. Simaras FC's Menios Laftsis got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute Ermis Kalomantis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thalis Gittas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Simaras FC booed when Píthion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michalis Pergaminos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marios Kalaitzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Píthion FC's goalkeeper Thalis Gittas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alkinoos Stratos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thalis Gittas having to interfere. Simaras FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
