An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Adamos in the 9th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's goalkeeper Dimitris Mandalenakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Mandalenakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manos Stavrakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ defense, Panos Adamos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Mandalenakis. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Mandalenakis should have stopped the shot. Notis Antonidis took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Mandalenakis. Dimitris Mandalenakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Notis Antonidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dimitris Mandalenakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimitris Mandalenakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Adamos in the 28th minute of the match. Giannis Adamopoulos made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ntinos Karalexis sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Litheres getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Notis Antonidis hit a great ball. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Dimitris Mandalenakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Tripitsidis in the 40th minute of play. Giannis Adamopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionysis Fragatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Litheres's goalkeeper Giannis Adamopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Ntinos Karalexis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giannis Adamopoulos, passed just outside the right post. Notis Antonidis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ntinos Karalexis was the one to do the kick off. Giannis Adamopoulos came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Ntinos Karalexis. But to his dismay, Ntinos Karalexis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dimitris Mandalenakis was a little too slow when Kyriakos Tripitsidis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Notis Antonidis during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ntinos Karalexis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giannis Adamopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Panos Adamos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dimitris Mandalenakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 76th minute, Kyriakos Tripitsidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Mandalenakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Panos Adamos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ booed when Litheres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Adamos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giannis Adamopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ntinos Karalexis went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ booed when Litheres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iason Klapaftis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Ntinos Karalexis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Giannis Adamopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ntinos Karalexis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Karalexis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giannis Adamopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Litheres's performance. The match ended with a win for Litheres.
