Odysseas Tsiopas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Minas Bougatsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Akis Lazariou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manoliσpoulon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Lazariou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Minas Bougatsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Megalios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseas Tsiopas having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Faneroméni's goalkeeper Eutichios Tripodakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akis Lazariou. The crowd rose to their feet as Iordanis Kostakos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eutichios Tripodakis. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. When Manoliσpoulon's Iordanis Kostakos in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Minas Bougatsas made a kick off. The supporters of Faneroméni booed when Manoliσpoulon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Melopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eutichios Tripodakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Lazariou, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Iordanis Kostakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Eutichios Tripodakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Iordanis Kostakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutichios Tripodakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Iordanis Kostakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Manoliσpoulon booed when Faneroméni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Psikos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Manoliσpoulon players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
