Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5688, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 0) Sinνkhovon's Giotis Pantelis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Christos Papanikolopoulos in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s Theagenis Kazantzatos. In the 9th minute, Adamantios Plevritis had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 9 minutes into the game, Kaido Nisu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sinνkhovon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Αργοναυτες Α.Ο. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sinνkhovon's Kaido Nisu got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Theagenis Kazantzatos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marios Nassiakos skillfully saved the ball. Sinνkhovon's Kaido Nisu got his second yellow card of the match in the 12th minute. The referee ordered Kaido Nisu off the ground. In the 12th minute, Kaido Nisu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Theagenis Kazantzatos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marios Nassiakos skillfully saved the ball. Marios Nassiakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stavros Athanasiou's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Vrasidas Skalakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pantelis Vasiliou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pantelis Vasiliou came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Sinνkhovon's Gösta Lund. But to his dismay, Gösta Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nikos Fragakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s zone, Vrasidas Skalakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pantelis Vasiliou came out of the goal and Vrasidas Skalakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evripidis Klonaridis's late challenge caught a Sinνkhovon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evripidis Klonaridis helped the player get up and apologised. Evripidis Klonaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Vrasidas Skalakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pantelis Vasiliou made a huge save. The supporters of Αργοναυτες Α.Ο. booed when Sinνkhovon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Fragakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s goalkeeper Pantelis Vasiliou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vrasidas Skalakis. Vrasidas Skalakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Pantelis Vasiliou made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Vrasidas Skalakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pantelis Vasiliou. Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vrasidas Skalakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stavros Athanasiou to make the kick off. Marios Nassiakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Klonaridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Stavros Athanasiou's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marios Nassiakos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sinνkhovon's Marios Nassiakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Sinνkhovon from getting a goal against them. Pantelis Vasiliou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Sinνkhovon's Christos Papanikolopoulos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pantelis Vasiliou in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 93 minutes, Vrasidas Skalakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sinνkhovon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vrasidas Skalakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s Pantelis Vasiliou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vrasidas Skalakis in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Sinνkhovon were the better team. Sinνkhovon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
