Spectators: 7604 (Terracing: 5704, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nasos Tsiaris started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Tsiaris in the 3rd minute of play forced Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s goalkeeper Pantelis Vasiliou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charis Sagionaridis came free, but Pantelis Vasiliou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theagenis Klotsidis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Nektarios Karageorgopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Pantelis Vasiliou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Tsiaris in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Fthína FC got a corner. Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renos Rouvas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fthína FC's Ignatios Karamolegos to fire away a dangerous shot which Pantelis Vasiliou despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thodoris Kaikas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Nasos Tsiaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stavros Athanasiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Nasos Tsiaris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pantelis Vasiliou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute Nasos Tsiaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pantelis Vasiliou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Evripidis Klonaridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Fthína FC's Renos Rouvas tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Stavros Athanasiou notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fthína FC's Ilias Thomakoglou. Ilias Thomakoglou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerasimos Samartzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Thomakoglou having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Fthína FC's Nasos Tsiaris slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pantelis Vasiliou. That made the score 1-3 after 56 minutes of play. If Gerasimos Samartzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Gerasimos Samartzis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerasimos Samartzis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilias Thomakoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Athanasiou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Sagionaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pantelis Vasiliou having to interfere. In the 81st minute Nasos Tsiaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pantelis Vasiliou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Tsiaris came free, but Pantelis Vasiliou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilias Thomakoglou came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Αργοναυτες Α.Ο.'s Gerasimos Samartzis. But to his dismay, Gerasimos Samartzis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 95th minute, Charis Sagionaridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Αργοναυτες Α.Ο. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fthína FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Fthína FC.
