In the 6th minute, Andreas Dimakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Babouinoi FC's Minas Kastritsis in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anka FC's goalie prevented a goal. Kyriakos Mantouvalos scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charalambos Telemes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kostas Rodopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Charalambos Telemes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anka FC's Charalambos Telemes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Minas Kastritsis in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Minas Kastritsis in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charalambos Telemes saved Anka FC from getting behind. Kyriakos Mantouvalos took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charalambos Telemes. Charalambos Telemes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 41st match minute, Babouinoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fokas Ptolemeos to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyriakos Mantouvalos to make the kick off. If Minas Kastritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Anka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Mantouvalos came free, but Charalambos Telemes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Minas Kastritsis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charalambos Telemes was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, Babouinoi FC's Minas Kastritsis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charalambos Telemes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Kostas Rodopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Anastasios Liolidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anka FC and the Babouinoi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charalambos Telemes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Babouinoi FC's Stamatis Tassoglou. But to his dismay, Stamatis Tassoglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Tolis Mouzakis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babouinoi FC's protests and gave Tolis Mouzakis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Babouinoi FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tolis Mouzakis hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyriakos Mantouvalos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charalambos Telemes. That made the score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. Charalambos Telemes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Mantouvalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 96 minutes Anka FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kyriakos Mantouvalos who took care of the corner kick. Babouinoi FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
