Anastasios Velakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Saraliotis in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, President's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Sfakianakis came free, but Anastasios Velakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. President's Anastasios Velakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Sfakianakis in the 10th minute of play. Anastasios Velakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Sfakianakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Kyriakos Sfakianakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Velakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasios Velakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Saraliotis in the 17th minute of the match. If Thrasivoulos Koulouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thrasivoulos Koulouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kostas Gountelitsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thrasivoulos Koulouris got free with Kostas Gountelitsas in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasios Balafoutis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Gountelitsas having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's goalkeeper Kostas Gountelitsas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thrasivoulos Koulouris. When Anastasios Balafoutis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the President fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Balafoutis couldn't finish the play. Thrasivoulos Koulouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Gountelitsas having to interfere. Marios Papadamous kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Alekos Meletoglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasios Velakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Takis Saraliotis made the kick off in the second half. Thrasivoulos Koulouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kostas Gountelitsas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thrasivoulos Koulouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. President were furious when Anastasios Balafoutis was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, President's Anastasios Balafoutis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in President's zone, Konstantinos Karataidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Velakos came out of the goal and Konstantinos Karataidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasios Velakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Sfakianakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Anastasios Velakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kyriakos Sfakianakis went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Kostas Gountelitsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thrasivoulos Koulouris in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes President got a freekick which was hit by Renos Pergaminos. 84 minutes into the game, Renos Pergaminos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. President's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of President:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ:s goal. The goalkeeper, Anastasios Velakos, was totally fooled by ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's Konstantinos Karataidis, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. President's Anastasios Velakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save President from getting a goal against them. Thrasivoulos Koulouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Gountelitsas having to interfere. Kostas Gountelitsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thrasivoulos Koulouris in the 93rd minute of play. If Renos Pergaminos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Ignatios Kazatzidis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Kyriakos Sfakianakis fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ's protests and gave Kyriakos Sfakianakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th match minute, ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyriakos Sfakianakis to maneuver through the defense. The ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ΜΑΙΑΝΔΡΟΣ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
