President's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marios Papadamous was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Thrasivoulos Koulouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 51 played minutes Bandiera Rossa got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Giannakopoulos. Chatziantoniou Papachristoulis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anastasios Balafoutis. President's Daniil Prikourakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tasos Itoudis in the 54 minute of the game. If Thrasivoulos Koulouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thrasivoulos Koulouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Bandiera Rossa got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Giannakopoulos. Thrasivoulos Koulouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Chatziantoniou Papachristoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, President's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Giannakopoulos came free, but Anastasios Velakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. President's Anastasios Velakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Paspalakis in the 67th minute of play. After a long run with the ball, Aggelos Tripitsidis did a trick in the 75th minute in front of President's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-0. In the 86th minute, Marios Papadamous hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, President's Thrasivoulos Koulouris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chatziantoniou Papachristoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of President booed when Bandiera Rossa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Paspalakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. President's Thrasivoulos Koulouris got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
