If Prokopis Sotirakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Minas Kastritsis came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Babouinoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minas Kastritsis couldn't finish the play. Avraam Iordanopoulos made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Prokopis Sotirakopoulos sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Lakis Giotoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27thth minute of the game Prokopis Sotirakopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mesimιri BC's Avraam Iordanopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Mesimιri BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakis Giotoulis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mesimιri BC's zone, Prokopis Sotirakopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avraam Iordanopoulos came out of the goal and Prokopis Sotirakopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Prokopis Sotirakopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iordanopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prokopis Sotirakopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avraam Iordanopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Prokopis Sotirakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Babouinoi FC booed when Mesimιri BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatios Ioannou didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Prokopis Sotirakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Chatziantoniou Sakellarios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 47 played minutes Mesimιri BC got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Manousopoulos. Kostas Rodopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avraam Iordanopoulos having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignatios Ioannou made a kick off. When Minas Kastritsis came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Babouinoi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minas Kastritsis couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Babouinoi FC booed when Mesimιri BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakis Giotoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Babouinoi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Bogris to maneuver through the defense. After 69 minutes of play, Babouinoi FC's Chatziantoniou Sakellarios made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avraam Iordanopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Babouinoi FC's Stamatis Tassoglou was substituted for Minas Kastritsis. Avraam Iordanopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stamatis Tassoglou went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Prokopis Sotirakopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avraam Iordanopoulos having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prokopis Sotirakopoulos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avraam Iordanopoulos saved Mesimιri BC from getting behind. Avraam Iordanopoulos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Babouinoi FC's Stamatis Tassoglou shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Mesimιri BC's Ignatios Ioannou got a free kick in the 94th minute.
