Apostolis Tsiartas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα's Fotis Perdikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themistoklis Venizelos in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of New old boys booed when Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prokopis Tsakiroglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fotis Perdikas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ntinos Karmiris. Nikolas Stoltidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sotos Megas went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes, Diogenis Lissaridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New old boys and the Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα booed when New old boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Lissaridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Vassilis Terzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in New old boys's zone, Sotos Megas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Stoltidis came out of the goal and Sotos Megas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Thalis Kefalas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikolas Stoltidis. New old boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thalis Kefalas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 60th minute of the match, Sotos Megas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikolas Stoltidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Apostolis Tsiartas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikolas Stoltidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotos Megas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sotos Megas in the 68th minute of play forced New old boys's goalkeeper Nikolas Stoltidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fotis Perdikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Soukas in the 76th minute of the match. Nikolas Stoltidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Megas in the 96th minute of the match. Π.Σ. Καλαμάτα played a much better game than New old boys and deserved their victory. The New old boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
