Spectators: 7730 (Terracing: 5799, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Valentinos Kondilis made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, PANATHINAIKOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentinos Kondilis came free, but Sokratis Batatoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errikos Mavrofidis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Minas Stenos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Minas Stenos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theagenis Terzis in the 10th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Errikos Mavrofidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PANATHINAIKOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Errikos Mavrofidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pιfka FC's Minas Stenos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theagenis Terzis in the 13th minute of play. If Theagenis Terzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Anestis Tziortzopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pιfka FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PANATHINAIKOS FC the free kick. Anestis Tziortzopoulos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Errikos Mavrofidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Stenos having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind PANATHINAIKOS FC's goalkeeper Sokratis Batatoudis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Iason Stasinopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Minas Stenos. The goal made the score 1-0. A nice corner shot did that Louis Xenitias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Minas Stenos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, PANATHINAIKOS FC's Theagenis Terzis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Minas Stenos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Errikos Mavrofidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theagenis Terzis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Stenos having to interfere.

Sokratis Batatoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentinos Kondilis in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pιfka FC's Takis Mavrikos got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Pιfka FC. Iraklis Livathinos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sokratis Batatoudis. 1-1. If Theagenis Terzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Xenitias's late challenge caught a Pιfka FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Xenitias helped the player get up and apologised. The goalkeeper, Sokratis Batatoudis, was totally fooled by Pιfka FC's Iraklis Livathinos, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kyriakos Egomitis charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kyriakos Egomitis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Errikos Mavrofidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. PANATHINAIKOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Errikos Mavrofidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Minas Stenos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the PANATHINAIKOS FC defense, Paris Tserkesidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sokratis Batatoudis. The PANATHINAIKOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sokratis Batatoudis should have stopped the shot. If Paris Tserkesidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pιfka FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
