Thomas Kiassos took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonidas Sakoulidis. Leonidas Sakoulidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leonidas Sakoulidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefanos Loukopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Giorgos Poursanidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dimitris Irinakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Giannis Kanatas fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Attiki's protests and gave Giannis Kanatas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kámpos booed when FC Attiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Kanatas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazaros Orfaniotis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dimitris Irinakis. FC Attiki's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Attiki's Dimitris Irinakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save FC Attiki from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Attiki's Anestis Dimas got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute Lazaros Orfaniotis managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Giorgos Poursanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Irinakis having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Stefanos Tsirigakis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Attiki's Dimitris Irinakis. Dimitris Irinakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Stefanos Loukopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giorgos Poursanidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Stefanos Tsirigakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renos Zacharoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Kámpos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themistoklis Daniilidis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Thomas Kiassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Attiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Kiassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitris Irinakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefanos Tsirigakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Giorgos Poursanidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Kámpos defense, Stefanos Loukopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonidas Sakoulidis. The Kámpos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonidas Sakoulidis should have stopped the shot. If Stefanos Loukopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Attiki defense, Stefanos Tsirigakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Irinakis. The FC Attiki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Irinakis should have stopped the shot. Dimitris Irinakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgos Poursanidis went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kámpos fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Attiki had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
