After a defensive mix-up in olympiakos kerkyras's zone, Thomas Kiassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aris Froussos came out of the goal and Thomas Kiassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Thomas Kiassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Attiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Kiassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Attiki's zone, Nasos Papagiannoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Irinakis came out of the goal and Nasos Papagiannoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodosis Evaggellopoulos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Paraskevas Paschalakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dimitris Irinakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 34 minutes of play, FC Attiki's Stefanos Loukopoulos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aris Froussos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aris Froussos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Kiassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Eugenios Pinezas in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefanos Loukopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thomas Kiassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Froussos having to interfere. If Stefanos Loukopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. olympiakos kerkyras's Aris Froussos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save olympiakos kerkyras from getting a goal against them. Stefanos Loukopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aris Froussos having to interfere. Aris Froussos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefanos Loukopoulos in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Attiki walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
