Vassilis Soukas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Kleanthis Chionidis made a huge save. The supporters of New old boys booed when A.O. Aigaleo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambros Katsourinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolas Stoltidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iason Kotitsas in the 32nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes A.O. Aigaleo got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Bourekas. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themistoklis Venizelos was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Themistoklis Venizelos made a precise shot to the right of Kleanthis Chionidis. A.O. Aigaleo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Veniamin Dabizas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nikolas Stoltidis made a huge save. A.O. Aigaleo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Themistoklis Venizelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. There was no doubt that New old boys were the better team. New old boys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
