Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kleanthis Anastasiou started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Kleanthis Anastasiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paschalis Kroustallis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Odysseas Kaktos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordanis Giannoulakis in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Valkαnon booed when Vlithiαs BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Mesiakaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Valkαnon's Tasos Abelas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Giannakopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panos Papapetrou in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Giannakopoulos saved Vlithiαs BC from getting behind. Tasos Abelas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christos Giannakopoulos firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Tasos Abelas came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Valkαnon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tasos Abelas couldn't finish the play. The goalkeeper, Christos Giannakopoulos, was totally fooled by Valkαnon's Babbis Siskos, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paschalis Kroustallis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vlithiαs BC's Iason Panagakos got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Valkαnon's Babbis Siskos broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Papapetrou in the 41st minute of play forced Vlithiαs BC's goalkeeper Christos Giannakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Panos Papapetrou dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christos Giannakopoulos, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Valkαnon's Tasos Abelas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christos Giannakopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tasos Mesiakaris's late challenge caught a Valkαnon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tasos Mesiakaris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Vlithiαs BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Mesiakaris to maneuver through the defense. Christos Giannakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tasos Abelas in the 57th minute of play. Tasos Abelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tasos Abelas in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Giannakopoulos saved Vlithiαs BC from getting behind. Christos Giannakopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panos Papapetrou's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Iason Panagakos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vlithiαs BC's protests and gave Iason Panagakos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vlithiαs BC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Iason Panagakos hit a great ball. Tasos Abelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Christos Giannakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Vlithiαs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Papapetrou came free, but Christos Giannakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Andreas Smernos had to leave the field with a concussion. Vlithiαs BC's Iason Panagakos got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Iason Panagakos off the ground. Iason Panagakos kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Vlithiαs BC defense, Tasos Abelas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christos Giannakopoulos. The Vlithiαs BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Giannakopoulos should have stopped the shot. Tasos Abelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Vlithiαs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Tasos Abelas came free, but Christos Giannakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Tasos Abelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valkαnon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tasos Abelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tasos Abelas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordanis Giannoulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Odysseas Kaktos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christos Giannakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tasos Abelas in the 96th minute of play. Valkαnon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
