Vaggelis Eleftheriadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Xanthidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Fanis Siontis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Anastasios Asimakis made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Skouloudhianα FC's goalkeeper Anastasios Asimakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fanis Siontis. Zacharias Porros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Anastasios Asimakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Thalis Xanthidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skouloudhianα FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thalis Xanthidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skouloudhianα FC's zone, Zacharias Porros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Asimakis came out of the goal and Zacharias Porros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Paraskevas Pachidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 41st minute Thalis Xanthidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vaggelis Eleftheriadis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zacharias Porros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anastasios Asimakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacharias Porros in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacharias Porros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thalis Xanthidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paraskevas Pachidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thalis Xanthidis's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. A collision led to DOXA DRAMAS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Zinon Kominatos hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Paraskevas Pachidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skouloudhianα FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paraskevas Pachidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Eleftheriadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Skouloudhianα FC's Lambis Kaloritis got a free kick in the 69th minute. Paraskevas Pachidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Eleftheriadis having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skouloudhianα FC's goalkeeper Anastasios Asimakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zacharias Porros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Anastasios Asimakis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Iraklis Konstantakos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Fanis Siontis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the DOXA DRAMAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fanis Siontis couldn't finish the play. Fanis Siontis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasios Asimakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zacharias Porros went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
