Kleanthis Anastasiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Mazarakis having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Iordanis Giannoulakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlithiαs BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordanis Giannoulakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordanis Giannoulakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Markos Mazarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Markos Mazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordanis Giannoulakis in the 20th minute of the match. Markos Mazarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordanis Giannoulakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Vlithiαs BC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Iason Panagakos hit a great ball. Marinos Semos in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christos Giannakopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kleanthis Anastasiou struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Markos Mazarakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlithiαs BC. 28 minutes into the match, PONTOS F.K VOR's goal looked a bit too open when Kleanthis Anastasiou came free, but Markos Mazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vlithiαs BC booed when PONTOS F.K VOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Kesoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iordanis Giannoulakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Kleanthis Anastasiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Mazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Thrasivoulos Fanas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PONTOS F.K VOR and the Vlithiαs BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the match, Vlithiαs BC's Christos Kentikelenis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Iordanis Giannoulakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlithiαs BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordanis Giannoulakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markos Mazarakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Iordanis Giannoulakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markos Mazarakis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Kleanthis Anastasiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PONTOS F.K VOR's Markos Mazarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordanis Giannoulakis in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lazaros Tzouroudis to make the kick off. Markos Mazarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleanthis Anastasiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Vlithiαs BC's Christos Kentikelenis tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lazaros Tzouroudis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Giannakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazaros Tzouroudis in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, PONTOS F.K VOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Kesoglou to maneuver through the defense. Christos Kentikelenis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thrasivoulos Fanas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Kleanthis Anastasiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Markos Mazarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Stamatis Kesoglou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PONTOS F.K VOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlithiαs BC the free kick. PONTOS F.K VOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Kleanthis Anastasiou scored to the left of an out of position Markos Mazarakis, making the score, 0-1. 82 minutes into the match, Vlithiαs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Semos came free, but Christos Giannakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tasos Savoidakis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute of the match Makis Fanas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Giannakopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Vlithiαs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaros Tzouroudis came free, but Christos Giannakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 played minutes Vlithiαs BC got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Mesiakaris. If Marinos Semos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Kleanthis Anastasiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlithiαs BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kleanthis Anastasiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Vlithiαs BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PONTOS F.K VOR throughout the match.
