After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Esteban Igual managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJ GP's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Igual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerasimos Triantafyllou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, DJ GP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Igual to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Kalogerakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrzej Barniszke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Dionysis Stathas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionysis Stathas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikos Kalogerakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Barniszke having to interfere. Valentinos Tokalidis charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentinos Tokalidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Valentinos Tokalidis. Gerasimos Triantafyllou was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Su Rong Cheng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Su Rong Cheng really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 35th minute, Chelsea's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Esteban Igual fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Esteban Igual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasimos Triantafyllou having to interfere. Petros Selionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gerasimos Triantafyllou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrzej Barniszke came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea's Dionysis Stathas. But to his dismay, Dionysis Stathas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Andrzej Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Kalogerakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionysis Stathas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zinon Loubakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerasimos Triantafyllou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Selionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gerasimos Triantafyllou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DJ GP's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dionysis Stathas 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Héctor David Puyol's late challenge caught a Chelsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Héctor David Puyol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DJ GP getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Héctor David Puyol hit a great ball. Dionysis Stathas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Barniszke having to interfere. Petros Selionis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gerasimos Triantafyllou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes DJ GP got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Igual. Andrzej Barniszke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionysis Stathas in the 94th minute of the match. Nikos Kalogerakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chelsea's Gerasimos Triantafyllou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Igual in the 97th minute of play. DJ GP's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
