If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Mylopotamos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Igual came free, but Stergios Stratikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iason Katsaros in the 25th minute of play forced DJ GP's goalkeeper Andrzej Barniszke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Esteban Igual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petros Selionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Stratikis having to interfere. Mylopotamos FC's Stergios Stratikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Igual in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Esteban Igual managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJ GP's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Igual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Stratikis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Petros Selionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mylopotamos FC's goalkeeper Stergios Stratikis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stergios Stratikis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Selionis in the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iason Katsaros made a kick off. Andrzej Barniszke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iason Katsaros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Mylopotamos FC's protests and gave Iason Katsaros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, Mylopotamos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iason Katsaros to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Igual struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Stergios Stratikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DJ GP. Stelios Mavroidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrzej Barniszke having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Iason Katsaros notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of DJ GP's Andrzej Barniszke. Andrzej Barniszke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esteban Igual could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Stergios Stratikis made a huge save.
