In the 29th minute, Charis Martinis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The wind increased when Marinos Maragos made the kick off in the second half. The AZZURRO fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when AZZURRO's Marinos Maragos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Alexandros Tatsis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Kakatsios skillfully saved the ball. If Charis Martinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Metaxas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marinos Maragos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AZZURRO's Lambros Leotsakos got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Michalis Alexoulis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Kakatsios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Michalis Metaxas made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Charis Martinis sent off a good shot on target. Paris Gaitanis's late challenge caught a Aλtorrαchi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paris Gaitanis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Paris Gaitanis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Kakatsios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Papastavrou in the 89th minute of play. AZZURRO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
