The Varies FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute Chatziioannou Theodorou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustratios Koufaliotis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Giannis Velakis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Masia FC's protests and gave Giannis Velakis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Masia FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Giannis Velakis hit a great ball. Varies FC's Eustratios Koufaliotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziioannou Theodorou in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute, Anastasios Kalokiris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Giannis Velakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustratios Koufaliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Theodorou in the 24th minute of the match. The penalty shot was made by Takis Masaboukas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Varies FC's Eustratios Koufaliotis. 1-1. Varies FC's Stamatis Poulakis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasios Kalokiris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Theofilatos having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, La Masia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonidas Sakkas came free, but Orestis Theofilatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Karatassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Orestis Theofilatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stamatis Poulakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Stamatis Poulakis came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Varies FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Poulakis couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Stamatis Poulakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varies FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eustratios Koufaliotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chatziioannou Theodorou in the 59th minute of the match. Stamatis Poulakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orestis Theofilatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stamatis Poulakis took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orestis Theofilatos. Orestis Theofilatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 81st match minute, Varies FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasios Kalokiris to maneuver through the defense. If Giorgos Karatassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Karatassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Orestis Theofilatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stamatis Poulakis came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Varies FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Poulakis couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Varies FC had played much better football throughout.
