Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iason Katsaros started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Chrisostomos Zinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stergios Stratikis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 played minutes Zagariαko got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Servetas. Timos Mandraflis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Marinos Mitropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Zagariαko's zone, Stelios Mavroidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Bougatsas came out of the goal and Stelios Mavroidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Zagariαko booed when Mylopotamos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Tsiaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chrisostomos Zinas in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stergios Stratikis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigoris Tsiaris charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoris Tsiaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Mylopotamos FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Tsiaris. After a defensive mix-up in Mylopotamos FC's zone, Marinos Mitropoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Stratikis came out of the goal and Marinos Mitropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stelios Mavroidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Nikos Bougatsas made a huge save. 30 minutes into the game, Iason Katsaros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mylopotamos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zagariαko the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mylopotamos FC's Iason Katsaros got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Chrisostomos Zinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zagariαko's Chrisostomos Zinas in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mylopotamos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Errikos Marinakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stergios Stratikis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Chrisostomos Zinas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagariαko's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Zinas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stergios Stratikis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zagariαko's Vaios Psomiadis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Iason Katsaros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Stelios Mavroidis came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mylopotamos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelios Mavroidis couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chrisostomos Zinas was the one to do the kick off. Iason Katsaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Bougatsas having to interfere. Mylopotamos FC's Stergios Stratikis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Mylopotamos FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Zagariαko booed when Mylopotamos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Triantafyllidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zagariαko's Chrisostomos Zinas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 71st match minute, Zagariαko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Grigoropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Stelios Mavroidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Bougatsas having to interfere. Chrisostomos Zinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stergios Stratikis having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Marinos Mitropoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Zagariαko's Aris Lykos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stergios Stratikis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nikos Bougatsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelios Mavroidis in the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mylopotamos FC's zone, Chrisostomos Zinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stergios Stratikis came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Zinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marinos Mitropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stergios Stratikis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zagariαko's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
