Petros Selionis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Orestis Theofilatos made a huge save. If Chatziioannou Theodorou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Selionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orestis Theofilatos having to interfere. Soulis Linaris charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Soulis Linaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of DJ GP booed when La Masia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soulis Linaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Soulis Linaris was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. A collision led to La Masia FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Soulis Linaris hit a great ball. Esteban Igual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petros Selionis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 37th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Esteban Igual managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJ GP's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Igual was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orestis Theofilatos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Masia FC's Orestis Theofilatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Igual in the 44th minute of play. Esteban Igual received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Orestis Theofilatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Esteban Igual came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the DJ GP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Igual couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Zinon Loubakis made a precise shot to the right of Orestis Theofilatos. La Masia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Masia FC's goalkeeper Orestis Theofilatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Masia FC's zone, Esteban Igual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orestis Theofilatos came out of the goal and Esteban Igual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, La Masia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Selionis came free, but Orestis Theofilatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes, Iosif Stefanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Masia FC and the DJ GP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iosif Stefanidis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Masia FC's zone, Esteban Igual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orestis Theofilatos came out of the goal and Esteban Igual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Esteban Igual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Igual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 80 minutes into the match, La Masia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Igual came free, but Orestis Theofilatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Esteban Igual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petros Selionis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orestis Theofilatos having to make a save. DJ GP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Igual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orestis Theofilatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Igual, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zinon Loubakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the DJ GP players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
