Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marinos Maragos took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Giannis Velakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marinos Maragos came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the AZZURRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Maragos couldn't finish the play. Menios Trilofos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, La Masia FC's Takis Masaboukas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Charis Martinis might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orestis Theofilatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charis Martinis ran back to his position shaking his head. Charis Martinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Orestis Theofilatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the game, Paris Gaitanis landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 20 minutes, Iosif Stefanidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Masia FC and the AZZURRO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AZZURRO booed when La Masia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Stefanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, La Masia FC's goalkeeper Orestis Theofilatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Martinis. Chatziioannou Theodorou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marinos Maragos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orestis Theofilatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Menios Trilofos's late challenge caught a La Masia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menios Trilofos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AZZURRO getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Menios Trilofos hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Takis Masaboukas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AZZURRO's Giannis Kakatsios didn't even have to move. Giannis Kakatsios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatziioannou Theodorou in the 33rd minute of play. La Masia FC's Giannis Velakis got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orestis Theofilatos made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Charis Martinis sent off a good shot on target. Charis Martinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Orestis Theofilatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chatziioannou Theodorou made a kick off. After 54 played minutes AZZURRO got a freekick which was hit by Menios Trilofos. Chatziioannou Theodorou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giannis Kakatsios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Chatziioannou Theodorou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Giannis Kakatsios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, AZZURRO's goalkeeper Giannis Kakatsios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Velakis. Spyros Panagiotoulis hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Chatziioannou Theodorou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes La Masia FC got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Goundoulakis. In the 71st minute, Chatziioannou Theodorou fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 73 minutes, Giannis Velakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Masia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Velakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AZZURRO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chatziioannou Theodorou 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Masia FC's zone, Charis Martinis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orestis Theofilatos came out of the goal and Charis Martinis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chatziioannou Theodorou might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Kakatsios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chatziioannou Theodorou ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, AZZURRO's Charis Martinis got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Masia FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
