After 38 played minutes ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS got a freekick which was hit by Aggelos Antzas. 40 minutes into the game, Prokopis Kourkoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marin Calboreanu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Calboreanu was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Panagiotis Gagatsis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS and the Iraklis players grew even worse after the yellow card. 57 minutes into the game, Teofil Ranowiecki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iraklis the free kick. In the 57th match minute, ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Ranowiecki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Bakiris in the 59th minute of play forced ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's goalkeeper Sotiris Vlachoudis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stratos Bakiris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Bakiris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotiris Vlachoudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Bakiris in the 70th minute of play. Stefanos Asimakopoulos came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by ETHNIKOS ALEX-POLIS's Marin Calboreanu. But to his dismay, Marin Calboreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when David Tróia put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Sotiris Vlachoudis, was totally fooled by Iraklis's Christoforos Kounenakis, who 101 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
