In the 5th minute of the match Thanasis Lakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Mavros skillfully saved the ball. In the 6th minute Pavlos Rodinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Mavros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lefteris Kourtis fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tyflosιllion's protests and gave Lefteris Kourtis a yellow card for diving instead. Lefteris Kourtis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes, Pavlos Rodinos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tyflosιllion's Christos Mavros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Viktoras Polimenakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tyflosιllion's goalkeeper Christos Mavros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute of the match Thanasis Lakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Mavros skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute, Tyflosιllion's Viktoras Polimenakos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giannis Saveris. Giannis Saveris yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Rodinos in the 41st minute of play forced Tyflosιllion's goalkeeper Christos Mavros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ntinos Staboulis to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Ntinos Staboulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Mavros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Viktoras Polimenakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyflosιllion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktoras Polimenakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viktoras Polimenakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Giannis Saveris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Coca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazaros Stavropodis to maneuver through the defense. Viktoras Polimenakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Coca Juniors defense, Viktoras Polimenakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Saveris. The Coca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Saveris should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Christoforos Stoltidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Ntinos Staboulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Mavros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ntinos Staboulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Staboulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Mavros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Mavros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavlos Rodinos in the 85th minute. During the 86th minute of the match Lefteris Kourtis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Coca Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
