A hard shot by Thanos Prevezanos from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Giorgos Baltas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Daniil Chrysafis struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Giorgos Baltas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KALLITHEA. Vassilis Platakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Baltas having to interfere. Galanianα FC's Giorgos Baltas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Galanianα FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Valassiou in the 24th minute of play forced KALLITHEA's goalkeeper Dimitris Velas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marios Maltezos hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Simos Tapinos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimitris Velas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Koulis Valassiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Velas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Marios Maltezos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Galanianα FC's Alkis Belidis in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KALLITHEA's goalie prevented a goal. If Koulis Valassiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vassilis Platakidis was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Dimitris Velas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Galanianα FC's Giorgos Baltas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniil Chrysafis in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galanianα FC's zone, Daniil Chrysafis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Baltas came out of the goal and Daniil Chrysafis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vassilis Moras took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giorgos Baltas. Giorgos Baltas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alkis Belidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koulis Valassiou got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dimitris Velas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Chrysafis in the 79th minute of play forced Galanianα FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Baltas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Galanianα FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniil Chrysafis came free, but Giorgos Baltas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniil Chrysafis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the KALLITHEA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Chrysafis couldn't finish the play. Giorgos Baltas came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by KALLITHEA's Vassilis Platakidis. But to his dismay, Vassilis Platakidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Galanianα FC's Giannis Karoubalis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Giorgos Baltas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniil Chrysafis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
