Vidhiαkion's Lambis Soupidis got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Santorini getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Charalambos Kaklamanos hit a great ball. Stefanos Georgiadiss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Iraklis Vourkos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanasis Aggelopoulos scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vassilis Roditis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Vidhiαkion's Lambis Soupidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iraklis Vourkos. Iraklis Vourkos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 21st minute Lambis Soupidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Vourkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Santorini getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ntinos Meintanis hit a great ball. Stefanos Georgiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Iraklis Vourkos made a huge save. Iraklis Vourkos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambis Soupidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Fragiskos Koupepes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iraklis Vourkos. Santorini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fragiskos Koupepes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, Thanasis Aggelopoulos notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Vidhiαkion's Vassilis Roditis. Vassilis Roditis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nikitas Nikoloulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vassilis Roditis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Vidhiαkion's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Aggelopoulos came free, but Vassilis Roditis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giannis Chatzinikolaou kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Vassilis Roditis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanasis Aggelopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 43 in the game by Stefanos Georgiadis from a close distance when the talented Iraklis Vourkos managed to make a qualified save. Santorini's players were relieved. 44 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Skarpathiotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vidhiαkion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santorini the free kick. Vassilis Roditis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikitas Nikoloulis in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fragiskos Koupepes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Iraklis Vourkos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iraklis Vourkos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambis Soupidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Vidhiαkion getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Konstantinos Skarpathiotis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Georgiadis in the 66th minute of play forced Santorini's goalkeeper Iraklis Vourkos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lambis Soupidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iraklis Vourkos having to make a save. In the 77th minute Lambis Soupidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Vourkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lambis Soupidis got free in front of the goal in the 80th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Iraklis Vourkos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Stefanos Georgiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidhiαkion's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefanos Georgiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iraklis Vourkos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Lambis Soupidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Vourkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Vidhiαkion were awarded a corner. Vassilis Iasonidis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Santorini's goalie and right to Tasos Boulas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Santorini's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 89th minute Stefanos Georgiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Vourkos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
