Petros Giannitsanakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Daniil Chrysafis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Petros Giannitsanakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pipis Mandraflis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Velas having to interfere. Fanis Dokos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petros Giannitsanakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Platakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Pipis Mandraflis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mastif War Dogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pipis Mandraflis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pipis Mandraflis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vassilis Platakidis to make the kick off. Mastif War Dogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Charis Tsirigotakis in the 55th minute. Fanis Dokos got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dimitris Velas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Fanis Dokos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the game, Mastif War Dogs's Pipis Mandraflis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Velas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. KALLITHEA's Dimitris Velas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Mandraflis in the 66th minute of play. Fanis Dokos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind KALLITHEA's goalkeeper Dimitris Velas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vassilis Platakidis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the KALLITHEA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vassilis Platakidis couldn't finish the play. Pipis Mandraflis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Velas having to interfere. Pipis Mandraflis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Velas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Mastif War Dogs's Pipis Mandraflis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Velas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.
