With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koulis Valassiou in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Polichronos saved Káto Lipokhórion from getting behind. Christos Polichronos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Valassiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Koulis Valassiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Polichronos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Galanianα FC's zone, Isidoros Kaiafas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Baltas came out of the goal and Isidoros Kaiafas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Káto Lipokhórion booed when Galanianα FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolis Papazisis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoforos Pagias, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Giorgos Baltas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Panagiotopoulos in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koulis Valassiou in the 38th minute of play forced Káto Lipokhórion's goalkeeper Christos Polichronos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alkis Belidis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Christos Polichronos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Koulis Valassiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koulis Valassiou to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkis Belidis in the 52nd minute of play forced Káto Lipokhórion's goalkeeper Christos Polichronos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Káto Lipokhórion getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Isidoros Kaiafas hit a great ball. In the 57th match minute, Káto Lipokhórion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Dentzas to maneuver through the defense. If Isidoros Kaiafas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Baltas came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Káto Lipokhórion's Fondas Panagiotopoulos. But to his dismay, Fondas Panagiotopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Káto Lipokhórion's zone, Koulis Valassiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christos Polichronos came out of the goal and Koulis Valassiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alkis Belidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Polichronos having to interfere. Giorgos Baltas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoros Kaiafas in the 81st minute of play. When Fondas Panagiotopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Káto Lipokhórion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fondas Panagiotopoulos couldn't finish the play. Fondas Panagiotopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Baltas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galanianα FC's zone, Isidoros Kaiafas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Baltas came out of the goal and Isidoros Kaiafas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Káto Lipokhórion's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
