Spectators: 7359 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 100) Iraklis's Stratos Bakiris started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktoras Polimenakos in the 8th minute of play forced Iraklis's goalkeeper Stefanos Asimakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute of the match Marios Kitrinos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefanos Asimakopoulos skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Iraklis's Dionysis Papapetrou got a free kick in the 13th minute. Christos Mavros came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Iraklis's Grigoris Karageorgopoulos. But to his dismay, Grigoris Karageorgopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 25th minute of the match Thanos Schizas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefanos Asimakopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Iraklis getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Eustratios Vdelas hit a great ball. When Vaggelis Koutsilas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stefanos Asimakopoulos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stefanos Asimakopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Koutsilas in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tyflosιllion's Vaggelis Apostolakos got a free kick in the 31st minute. Viktoras Polimenakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaggelis Koutsilas might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefanos Asimakopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vaggelis Koutsilas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tyflosιllion's Christos Mavros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Bakiris in the 43rd minute of play. Lefteris Kourtis's late challenge caught a Iraklis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lefteris Kourtis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Tyflosιllion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefteris Kourtis to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Christoforos Kounenakis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tyflosιllion's Christos Mavros did a great save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktoras Polimenakos was the one to do the kick off. Christos Mavros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Bakiris in the 52nd minute of play. Stefanos Asimakopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Koutsilas in the 57th minute. A collision led to Iraklis getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Dionysis Papapetrou hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Marios Kitrinos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefanos Asimakopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Viktoras Polimenakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Stefanos Asimakopoulos made a huge save. If Vaggelis Koutsilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Tyflosιllion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marios Kitrinos to maneuver through the defense. Grigoris Karageorgopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christos Mavros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. When Dionysis Papapetrou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. After 80 played minutes Iraklis got a freekick which was hit by Dionysis Papapetrou. Viktoras Polimenakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stefanos Asimakopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustratios Vdelas kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Grigoris Karageorgopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christos Mavros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigoris Karageorgopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Vaggelis Koutsilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyflosιllion's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
