With an all-out effort, Skoúnda FC's Diogenis Ikonomou threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentinos Theodorou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Diogenis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentinos Theodorou in the 8th minute of play. Miltos Marketis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Vradéton FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skoúnda FC:s goal. Miltos Saveris shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Diogenis Ikonomou made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Nikos Tosodoulis sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Giannis Kontodimopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Michalis Leontiou. Skoúnda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Michalis Leontiou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Kontodimopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Konstantinos Ritsos's late challenge caught a Vradéton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Ritsos helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Skoúnda FC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Ritsos. Michalis Leontiou came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Vradéton FC's Giannis Kontodimopoulos. But to his dismay, Giannis Kontodimopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Michalis Leontiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Dokos in the 35th minute of play. When Vradéton FC's Giannis Kontodimopoulos in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skoúnda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Michalis Leontiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Dokos in the 42nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Konstantinos Ritsos with Valentinos Theodorou as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Vradéton FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vassilis Bakosis hit a great ball. Miltos Saveris's shot from long distance in the 48th minute was not bad at all, but Vradéton FC's Diogenis Ikonomou knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giannis Kontodimopoulos made a kick off. Michalis Leontiou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giannis Kontodimopoulos went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Daniil Dokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Giannis Kontodimopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Zabetas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diogenis Ikonomou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Tosodoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zisis Magoulas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michalis Leontiou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Michalis Leontiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petros Zabetas in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Skoúnda FC's goalkeeper Michalis Leontiou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Kontodimopoulos. 73 minutes into the game, Valentinos Theodorou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Diogenis Ikonomou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Skoúnda FC's Michalis Leontiou got control of the ball when Giannis Kontodimopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Michalis Leontiou managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Vradéton FC's Giannis Kontodimopoulos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 83 minutes into the game, Vradéton FC's Petros Zabetas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michalis Leontiou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Diogenis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentinos Theodorou in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Skoúnda FC's Valentinos Theodorou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 89th minute Daniil Dokos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Leontiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Giannis Kontodimopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vradéton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giannis Kontodimopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michalis Leontiou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Tosodoulis in the 95th minute of play forced Vradéton FC's goalkeeper Diogenis Ikonomou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogenis Ikonomou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Kapetanidis in the 96th minute of play.
