Chatziantoniou Bourbos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute of the game, Aris Giannos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Konstantinos Kododimos's late challenge caught a Gσnthi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Kododimos helped the player get up and apologised. Gσnthi's Apostolos Kastanas was substituted for Aris Giannos. After a rather tough play, Olympiakos fc's Konstantinos Kododimos got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gσnthi's Minas Pandrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veniamin Lagoudakis in the 33rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anestis Tsitouras sped through Olympiakos fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chatziantoniou Bourbos. After having played for 38 minutes, Charis Roubesis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gσnthi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charis Roubesis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympiakos fc's goalkeeper Chatziantoniou Bourbos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Veniamin Lagoudakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Minas Pandrakis made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Nikiforos Charoulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiakos fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantinos Kododimos to make the kick off. Anestis Tsitouras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Chatziantoniou Bourbos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 61 in the game by Charis Roubesis from a close distance when the talented Chatziantoniou Bourbos managed to make a qualified save. Olympiakos fc's players were relieved. Charis Roubesis scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chatziantoniou Bourbos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charis Roubesis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anestis Tsitouras got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-3 in the right cross in the 78th match minute before Chatziantoniou Bourbos had time to react. In the 81st minute, Olympiakos fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Charis Roubesis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Minas Pandrakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Kododimos, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes Gσnthi got a freekick which was hit by Charis Roubesis. In the 90th minute, Tolis Beis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Charis Paspalakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Minas Pandrakis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tolis Beis scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chatziantoniou Bourbos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
