Spectators: 6300 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) Anestis Tsitouras started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Tsitouras in the 4th minute of play forced Keravnos Salaminas's goalkeeper Diogenis Kasimatis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogenis Tzekos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Kleon Tsobanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Pandrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charis Roubesis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anestis Tsitouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Diogenis Kasimatis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anestis Tsitouras in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogenis Kasimatis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogenis Kasimatis came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gσnthi's Charis Roubesis. But to his dismay, Charis Roubesis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Charis Roubesis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogenis Kasimatis having to interfere. Anestis Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Charis Roubesis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Tsitouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Diogenis Kasimatis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Gσnthi's Charis Roubesis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogenis Kasimatis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aggelos Kazoleas took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogenis Kasimatis. Diogenis Kasimatis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilias Xanthopoulos was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Gσnthi got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Tzekos. A collision led to Gσnthi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aris Giannos hit a great ball. Paris Kyriakatos's late challenge caught a Gσnthi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paris Kyriakatos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gσnthi booed when Keravnos Salaminas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Kyriakatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Anestis Tsitouras took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Diogenis Kasimatis to make any attempt to save it. Minas Pandrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilias Xanthopoulos in the 63rd minute of play. If Charis Roubesis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thodoris Kounenakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Diogenis Kasimatis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anestis Tsitouras succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 69th playminute. When Aggelos Theofilopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gσnthi's protests and gave Aggelos Theofilopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gσnthi's Aggelos Theofilopoulos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Diogenis Tzekos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diogenis Kasimatis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. If Charis Roubesis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogenis Kasimatis came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Gσnthi's Anestis Tsitouras. But to his dismay, Anestis Tsitouras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Anestis Tsitouras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diogenis Kasimatis. That made the score 1-6 in the 84 minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Thodoris Kounenakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diogenis Kasimatis. Thodoris Kounenakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Anestis Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Kazoleas struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Diogenis Kasimatis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gσnthi.
