Charalambos Karalis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prokopis Mavros's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute, one of Black Royal Knights:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Black Royal Knights. Lazaros Antonopoulos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Black Royal Knights's Giorgos Kalamaropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaros Antonopoulos in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Giannis Zigouris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gasmades FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Zigouris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prokopis Mavros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lazaros Antonopoulos made the kick off in the second half. Giannis Vakirtzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Charalambos Karalis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Gasmades FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prokopis Mavros came free, but Charalambos Karalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panagiotis Iordanidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giorgos Kalamaropoulos.
