Andreas Renieris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Tsagris in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Spyros FC's goalkeeper Andreas Renieris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotos Vasilomichelakis. 7 minutes into the game, Sotos Vasilomichelakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Andreas Renieris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stratos Tsagris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Andreas Renieris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stratos Kalifoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Nestoridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Amfiali FC's Stratos Tsagris got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Giorgos Nestoridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Nestoridis in the 26th minute of play forced Amfiali FC's goalkeeper Stratos Kalifoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Stratos Tsagris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Andreas Renieris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Sotos Vasilomichelakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignatios Tsagarakis struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Stratos Kalifoulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spyros FC. Grigoris Xanthopoulos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Giorgos Nestoridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Stratos Kalifoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Nestoridis to make the kick off. Vaggelis Kourouklis kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Andreas Renieris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stratos Tsagris's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 73rd minute Giorgos Nestoridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Kalifoulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotos Vasilomichelakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Renieris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stratos Tsagris, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Sotos Vasilomichelakis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Amfiali FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotos Vasilomichelakis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Spyros FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Chatziioannou Bonovas hit a great ball. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Amfiali FC's Stratos Tsagris fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 96 played minutes Spyros FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziioannou Bonovas. Amfiali FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
