Andreas Lazopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Royal Knights! Black Royal Knights's Giorgos Kalamaropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Lazopoulos in the 17th minute of play. Aggelos Bougiouklis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Johny F.C. booed when Black Royal Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Karabelopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Andreas Lazopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kalamaropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trifon Tzouroudis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes in the game, Andreas Lazopoulos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Paris Karabelopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 30 minutes, Paris Karabelopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Royal Knights and the Johny F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Black Royal Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Karabelopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Stratos Vyntras lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 40th minute, Giannis Vakirtzis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aggelos Bougiouklis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandros Konidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Vakirtzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of Black Royal Knights booed when Johny F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenios Charatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, one of Johny F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Johny F.C.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Tzouroudis in the 59th minute of play forced Johny F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexandros Konidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Lazopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgos Kalamaropoulos having to make a save. Alexandros Konidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Vakirtzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Black Royal Knights's Trifon Tzouroudis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Giannis Vakirtzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandros Konidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trifon Tzouroudis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Black Royal Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Karabelopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Black Royal Knights's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andreas Lazopoulos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexandros Konidakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Vakirtzis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Dionysis Kareklopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Johny F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionysis Kareklopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Thomas Koutsoures came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Johny F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Koutsoures couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Johny F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Trifon Tzouroudis came free, but Alexandros Konidakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giannis Vakirtzis in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandros Konidakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 100 minutes Johny F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Themistoklis Manousakis who took care of the corner kick.
