Spectators: 7631 (Terracing: 5764, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 100) Drowning Pool FC's Spyros Adamou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giannis Zigouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Zigouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Prodromos Kakaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Drowning Pool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Zigouris came free, but Prodromos Kakaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christodoulos Valassopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gasmades FC's Giannis Zigouris fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spyros Adamou in the 18th minute of play forced Gasmades FC's goalkeeper Charalambos Karalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Zigouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Kakaris having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Drowning Pool FC's Spyros Adamou dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ilias Markoulidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prodromos Kakaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaros Antonopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoforos Paraskevas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Gasmades FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Markoulidis to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lazaros Antonopoulos made a kick off. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gasmades FC's goalkeeper Charalambos Karalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Prodromos Kakaris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazaros Antonopoulos's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. If Spyros Adamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Spyros Adamou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charalambos Karalis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prodromos Kakaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaros Antonopoulos in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Spyros Adamou notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gasmades FC's Charalambos Karalis. Charalambos Karalis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Christos Paspalas put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Charalambos Karalis.
