Prodromos Kakaris came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Johny F.C.'s Andreas Lazopoulos. But to his dismay, Andreas Lazopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stratos Vyntras charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stratos Vyntras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Johny F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Vyntras. Alexandros Konidakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spyros Adamou's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Andreas Lazopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Prodromos Kakaris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Drowning Pool FC's Christodoulos Valassopoulos got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Andreas Lazopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Drowning Pool FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionysis Papafanopoulos. When Stavros Pirovolidis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Johny F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stavros Pirovolidis couldn't finish the play. Christodoulos Valassopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 38 played minutes Drowning Pool FC got a freekick which was hit by Christodoulos Valassopoulos. Prodromos Kakaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Pirovolidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After 52 minutes of play, Drowning Pool FC's Christos Paspalas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Konidakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christodoulos Valassopoulos hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Andreas Lazopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prodromos Kakaris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stavros Pirovolidis's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Alexandros Konidakis made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Christos Paspalas sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Lazopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prodromos Kakaris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Lazopoulos ran back to his position shaking his head. Dionysis Papafanopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionysis Papafanopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Andreas Lazopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prodromos Kakaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Lazopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Christos Paspalas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Stavros Pirovolidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Johny F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Stavros Pirovolidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Kakaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Andreas Lazopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
