Stratos Tsagris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sotos Vasilomichelakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sotiris Triantafyllidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Kalifoulis having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Triantafyllidis to maneuver through the defense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sotiris Triantafyllidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Sotos Vasilomichelakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Giannis Margiolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotiris Triantafyllidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Stratos Kalifoulis threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sotiris Triantafyllidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Amfiali FC's Stratos Tsagris in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Giannis Margiolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotos Vasilomichelakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's zone, Sotos Vasilomichelakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Margiolis came out of the goal and Sotos Vasilomichelakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Giannis Margiolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotos Vasilomichelakis in the 92nd minute of play. Amfiali FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
