Alexandros Konidakis made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Michalis Kabantais sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 7 minutes, Omiros Katzelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polydeukis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omiros Katzelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, Michalis Kabantais made a precise shot to the right of Alexandros Konidakis. Johny F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Theodosis Karagiannidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Pirovolidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Omiros Katzelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alexandros Konidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polydeukis FC's goalkeeper Theodosis Karagiannidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Kostas Staboulidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polydeukis FC and the Johny F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kostas Staboulidis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Iason Kiourtsidis fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polydeukis FC's protests and gave Iason Kiourtsidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Iason Kiourtsidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Polydeukis FC's zone, Stavros Pirovolidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodosis Karagiannidis came out of the goal and Stavros Pirovolidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johny F.C.'s Alexandros Konidakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Johny F.C. from getting a goal against them. Michalis Kabantais's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alexandros Konidakis firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Omiros Katzelis in the 52nd minute of play forced Johny F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexandros Konidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Mountakis during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitris Mountakis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dimitris Mountakis got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 57th match minute, Polydeukis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Mountakis to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stavros Pirovolidis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodosis Karagiannidis saved Polydeukis FC from getting behind. When Polydeukis FC's Michalis Kabantais in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Johny F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Errikos Vourousakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polydeukis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Errikos Vourousakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Konidakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th match minute, Polydeukis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Staboulidis to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Johny F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute Stavros Pirovolidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Karagiannidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Polydeukis FC's Theodosis Karagiannidis got control of the ball when Andreas Lazopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Michalis Kabantais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Thomas Koutsoures hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omiros Katzelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Polydeukis FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
