When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Takis Kamaroulias put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Giorgos Kalamaropoulos. Valerios Diamantidis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's goalkeeper Giannis Margiolis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sotiris Triantafyllidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giannis Margiolis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Royal Knights's Prokopis Mavros. But to his dismay, Prokopis Mavros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Valerios Diamantidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valerios Diamantidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Black Royal Knights's Giorgos Kalamaropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Triantafyllidis in the 18th minute of play. If Sotiris Triantafyllidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Giannis Vakirtzis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Margiolis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sotiris Triantafyllidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Kalamaropoulos having to interfere. If Prokopis Mavros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prokopis Mavros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Giannis Margiolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giannis Vakirtzis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotiris Triantafyllidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Triantafyllidis in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute Sotiris Triantafyllidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kalamaropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Kalamaropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Trachanas in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Prokopis Mavros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Royal Knights's supporters rose to their feet, but Prokopis Mavros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giannis Margiolis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexis Trachanas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Kalamaropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Sotiris Triantafyllidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Alexis Trachanas sped through Black Royal Knights's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giorgos Kalamaropoulos. When Giannis Vakirtzis came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Black Royal Knights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Vakirtzis couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Black Royal Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Vakirtzis to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Giannis Margiolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prokopis Mavros in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Black Royal Knights getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nikitas Pikrakis hit a great ball. Sotiris Triantafyllidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
