Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giorgos Nestoridis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andreas Renieris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omiros Katzelis in the 5th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Spyros FC got a freekick which was hit by Chatziioannou Bonovas. In the 7th minute of the match Fotis Manousos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andreas Renieris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Spyros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Kabantais came free, but Andreas Renieris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omiros Katzelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Andreas Renieris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Omiros Katzelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Renieris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Fanis Sarafidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Spyros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Polydeukis FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Spyros FC's Fanis Sarafidis got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Spyros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Kabantais came free, but Andreas Renieris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omiros Katzelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Renieris having to interfere. Fanis Sarafidis was shown his second yellow card after 26 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Polydeukis FC booed when Spyros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fanis Sarafidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polydeukis FC's Michalis Kabantais got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Omiros Katzelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Renieris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Omiros Katzelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spyros FC's Andreas Renieris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Polydeukis FC's Michalis Kabantais got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Spyros FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Giorgos Nestoridis hit a great ball. After having played for 51 minutes, Omiros Katzelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polydeukis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omiros Katzelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Omiros Katzelis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Andreas Renieris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polydeukis FC. Andreas Renieris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michalis Kabantais in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Omiros Katzelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Renieris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Giorgos Nestoridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spyros FC and the Polydeukis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omiros Katzelis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Andreas Renieris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michalis Kabantais in the 67th minute. In the last second Andreas Renieris throw himself and got hold of the ball when Omiros Katzelis in the 68thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 72nd match minute, Polydeukis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltos Katsara to maneuver through the defense. When Spyros FC's Ignatios Tsagarakis in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polydeukis FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignatios Tsagarakis in the 75th minute of play forced Polydeukis FC's goalkeeper Theodosis Karagiannidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Renieris made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Michalis Kabantais sent off a good shot on target. Andreas Renieris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omiros Katzelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omiros Katzelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Renieris having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Spyros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Parlapipas to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Michalis Kabantais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michalis Kabantais got free with Andreas Renieris in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Polydeukis FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
