Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Spyros Adamou took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Valerios Diamantidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drowning Pool FC's Prodromos Kakaris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giannis Margiolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spyros Adamou in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Drowning Pool FC's Aris Anagnostakis got a free kick in the 7th minute. If Spyros Adamou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's goalkeeper Giannis Margiolis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sotiris Triantafyllidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Prodromos Kakaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Alexis Trachanas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valerios Diamantidis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Prodromos Kakaris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ. 27 minutes into the match, Spyros Adamou dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Giannis Margiolis, 1-0. Prodromos Kakaris came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Sotiris Triantafyllidis. But to his dismay, Sotiris Triantafyllidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's Giannis Margiolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Adamou in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Sotiris Triantafyllidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Kakaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Christos Paspalas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Valerios Diamantidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valerios Diamantidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prodromos Kakaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sotiris Triantafyllidis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Giannis Moustafidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Margiolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Paspalas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Drowning Pool FC's Christos Paspalas in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's goalie prevented a goal. Spyros Adamou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Margiolis having to interfere. Alexis Trachanas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Prodromos Kakaris made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spyros Adamou in the 93rd minute of play forced ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΑΡΟΗ ΓΣ's goalkeeper Giannis Margiolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Moustafidis, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
