The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lapokhσri getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Paraskevas Rovolis hit a great ball. Renos Ignatiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Koulakidis in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Che Guevara's Loukas Koutsilas got a free kick in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aris Lazaris during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pavlos Balodimos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Renos Ignatiou. Che Guevara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Kastanis in the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Che Guevara's Takis Poriotis tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Themis Koulakidis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Renos Ignatiou was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Che Guevara's zone, Zinon Pentaras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Ignatiou came out of the goal and Zinon Pentaras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Themis Koulakidis sped through Che Guevara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renos Ignatiou. In the 45th minute, Themis Koulakidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Zinon Pentaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapokhσri's supporters rose to their feet, but Zinon Pentaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renos Ignatiou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filippos Kastanis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Che Guevara's goalkeeper Renos Ignatiou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zinon Pentaras. In the 61st match minute, Che Guevara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Koutsilas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Lapokhσri getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Iosif Ntounias hit a great ball. The referee ignored Lapokhσri's protests and gave Iosif Ntounias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Iosif Ntounias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zinon Pentaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renos Ignatiou having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Zinon Pentaras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lapokhσri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Lapokhσri booed when Che Guevara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Sourlis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renos Ignatiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Koulakidis in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Lapokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Sourlis came free, but Stathis Ipsilantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zinon Pentaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Renos Ignatiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fotis Bakakos fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Che Guevara's protests and gave Fotis Bakakos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Che Guevara's Fotis Bakakos got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Che Guevara's zone, Pavlos Balodimos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Ignatiou came out of the goal and Pavlos Balodimos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Themis Koulakidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renos Ignatiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nontas Preftokis in the 92nd minute of play. Zinon Pentaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
