Zinon Pentaras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Kostas Pavlakos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, Zinon Pentaras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapokhσri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinon Pentaras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to A.E. KANALIWN getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kostas Perdikouris hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Themis Koulakidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapokhσri's supporters rose to their feet, but Themis Koulakidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Pavlakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 49 played minutes, Lapokhσri's Eleftherios Prittas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kostas Pavlakos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lapokhσri reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Kostas Pavlakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Koulakidis in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, A.E. KANALIWN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Potamiotis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Zinon Pentaras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapokhσri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinon Pentaras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 minutes of play, Lapokhσri's Themis Koulakidis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
